Is there a device that can measure fuel economy?

by admin on January 29, 2010

I want to measure the fuel economy of my car but I don’t want to use the dumb fuel-drive-refuel test. The gas station pumps stop arbitrarily long before the tank is TRULY full, so this just isn’t accurate. Does the OBD I or II have an option to measure this?

thats not how you do it. u start full, then drive X miles. the next time u fill divide the miles by the gallons. sure one tank isnt that accuate but onve 2 or 3 it should be right on. I have that MPG computer . its not that accurate… a calculator is better
