Hypermiling: How To Increase Your Car’s Gas Mileage & Save on GAS!!

by admin on July 24, 2010

Does acetone increase your gas mileage or increase your MPG? Does acetone harm your engine? Where can you get acetone and how do you use it? This is an acetone test I performed on my 2008 Ford Ranger over the course of the last 3 months and 10000 miles. To date, I have seen no negative effects, only positive ones. My truck’s fuel consumption dropped, and is now averaging just over 31 MPG according to my new scangauge! The EPA stickers on my car showed a MPG rating of 21 city/26 hwy, so I’ve made some huge improvements, and increased my cars fuel economy by about 32%. If I can do it so can you, watch the video, or visit my website to learn how. www.vonHypermiler.com

What a brilliant way to strip everything out of the inside of your engine.

Why can’t you make a normal video?

rbandgh3 July 24, 2010 at 1:24 pm

@romans1164e the video is to save money not to save the earth. If you feel this way, go ride a bike or use public transport.

The link you provided does not work. so how are we supposed to look at your site if it dosent work?

A word of warning. Any substance which you put into the gas tank of your car and which wasn’t designed to be put there by the manufacturer can cause damage to your engine..This includes acetone which will not improve your fuel mileage in any way. You’ll just be paying for gasoline and then shelling out more for useless acetone.

hebay2 July 24, 2010 at 5:46 pm

im using this at a 500 to one ratio..thats 2 ml per litre (uk)….ive tested it countless times….my bike loves it and has gone from 47mpg average to 54mpg average…one run returned 62mpg..its safe and it works…those who talk shit about it havent tried it..everyone ive told about it is sticking to it

jacktaylor2115 July 24, 2010 at 5:57 pm

@romans1164e

Actually a supercharged uses a lot of the engines performance meaning that more is wasted on powering the supercharger lowering the fuel economy. Turbo chargers are a lot better as they don’t require any where near as much power from the engine to run.

if you use to much it could so only use the recomended amount

@CroVideoWatcher Acetone will work very well in helping to remove the black nail polish off yer Goth fingernails…

UNOMINER July 24, 2010 at 6:22 pm

its LITRE, a liquid measurement

howroyd July 24, 2010 at 7:15 pm

Litre?

CroVideoWatcher July 24, 2010 at 7:41 pm

could aceton damage your car??

romans1164e July 24, 2010 at 7:50 pm

a supercharger forces more air into the cylinder during the gas/air mix to improve power and gas mileage, which should have little bearing on what acetone would be doing. so the answer would be yes.

romans1164e July 24, 2010 at 8:07 pm

it’s liter. you’re spelling it like a litter of kittens or what cats piss on.

romans1164e July 24, 2010 at 9:02 pm

i guess we should just kill everybody then since we all release carbon dioxide and methane. go plant a tree to even out the carbon level and shut up.

TheNismojunky July 24, 2010 at 9:17 pm

the jokes take too much time, and are anoying.

deseocar July 24, 2010 at 9:21 pm

Acetone releases more carbon in to the atmosphere causeing worse harm then just fuel only
