check tire pressure monthly
change your oil every 3000miles or 3 months
get a tune up per your owner’s manual
don’t over acellerate
maintain a 50-60 mph on the highway
try to stay out of stop and go traffic
manual transmitions help alittle but not awhole lot
braking really doesn’t have alot to do with it
don’t run your AC as much

Here in the Philippines, we have some alternatives for saving gas. We have here the Bio-Diesel which is used by the Jeepneys and all-diesel type vehicles to save gas and to increase mileage. The other is the device that is being installed in the motor of some AUV’s, it’s called Khaos Super Turbo Charger which has been commercially used in some countries right now. That’s all!

Walk or bike instead of driving – biggest gas saver you can use!

To save on gas you need to keep your engine clean, the best way to do this is to keep clean engine oil in your car. I know that they say every 3000 miles. ( NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!) after 3000 miles your oil is like tar, try changing your oil every month or every 2-3 weeks.
