i am considering buying this as my first bike. I want a dual sport because i will use the off road capabilities as well as driving it to work to save on gas. can any one provide experience with fuel economy for this bike and required maitenance and up keep on a dual sport bike such as oil change regualarity or tire tread wear. whatever you have to offer. thanks for the help.

I’m am looking into getting a sport bike because of the fuel economy and because i’ve always wanted to ride a motorcycle.
Some of the main things i need to work with are the fact that in the fall, i will be going to school to get a degree in motorcycles and power equipment, i can only spend up to $6,000 on it, and that I live in a rainy state. The motorcycle would be my only form of transportation other than the city bus.
Any advice?

I’m interested in getting an older Honda Goldwing. Just how old depends on how much they cost and what the fuel economy of the older models is like. I also want to know if older, used Goldwings are likely to be reliable or if problems are commonplace with them.

And, since they’re such large, heavy bikes, are they difficult to handle for a modest-sized person of 150 lbs?
