How does fuel economy change with speed?  I&#8217;m specifically wondering about how the MPG of a Dodge Stratus four door changes with speed but I&#8217;d be curious about any vehicle.  I&#8217;d especially be interested comparing engine types (gasoline, diesel, rotary, steam&#8230;).

I am interested in buying a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500. It gets 14 mpg city and 18 mpg highway.
Is there any way to increase the gas mileage of the truck?
